Testimonials

"My hands are dry for the first time in my life! I do not experience the painful swelling; I do not even experience any sweating! I have regained my lost confidence! You have no idea what this means to me, to no longer avoid social situations but to embrace them! I do not worry about the handshake or the arm touch anymore, I actually enjoy it. Thank you Dr. Schultz for making this possible, for giving me back my life! I highly recommend this procedure to anyone who has endured what I have; it will change your life!" - Rebecca Hanson

Overview

Hyperhidrosis

An estimated 2-3% of Americans suffer from extremely sweaty hands and palms, feet or face (brow), which is a medical condition called "hyperhidrosis". Blushing and axillary hyperhidrosis (excessive armpit sweating) are also symptoms of hyperhidrosis.  One side effect of excess perspiration is that it may increase the risk of fungal infections.  Additionally, it may prevent people from socializing due to their embarrassment and discomfort. It does not make a difference if you live in a "cold" or "hot" climate; hyperhidrosis can affect you no matter what the climate.  The cause of hyperhidrosis has been successfully linked to over-activity in the sympathetic nervous system (the part of the autonomous nervous system that controls the sweat glands).
